Schumann Lab at the Beilstein Glycobioinformatics Conference

This month, Lucia (our senior laboratory research scientist), Abdul (our PhD student) and Ben attended the Beilstein glycobioinformatics conference held in Limburg, Germany. The conference featured an array of speakers stretching from new insights into glycosyltransferases substrate selection modes to AI powered tools to automate MS/MS glycan characterisation. 

Lucia and Abdul presented posters of their work, whilst Ben delivered a talk showcasing our work on the implications of O-glycosylation on SARS-CoV-2 spike protein maturation. Lab members were very positive about the meeting and hope it foster many enriching collaborations!
