Himanshi Chawla

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Himanshi received her Master’s degree in Medical Biochemistry in 2019 from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. In 2019, she joined as a PhD student in Glycobiology research laboratory under the supervision of Professor Max Crispin, based at University of Southampton. During her PhD, she worked primarily on understanding viral immunogen glycosylation, particularly of HIV-1 and SARS-CoV-2, in protein and nucleic acid-based systems. In 2023, she joined as a Research Associate in the Schumann lab based at the Francis Crick and The Imperial College of London, where she is using well-established bump and hole strategy to reveal proteoglycans by employing chemical proteomics.
