Schumann - Walport Lab Retreat 2024

This year, the lab members from Louise Walport's lab (Francis Crick Institute, Imperial College London) joined us in our second joint lab retreat! In our three exciting days in the Kentish countryside, we presented our work, exchanged ideas in science and research, and had some fun with team building activities. Despite both labs working in chemical tools, the Walport lab members predominantly work with peptides, as opposed to the glycans used in the Schumann lab. It was a wonderful display of how diverse the field of chemical biology is!
